Exposure to Asbestos Products Caused Lung Cancer, Former Laborer Says
Charleston – A couple from Salyersville (KY) is suing forty nine defendant corporations that are allegedly responsible for an asbestos-related lung cancer diagnosis.
Will Press Conley and his wife Dorothy Conley have filed a suit in Kanawha Circuit Court on February 29. The suit says Mr. Conley was diagnosed with asbestos-related lung cancer in 2011 March.
According to the complaint, the defendant companies exposed Conley to asbestos and products containing asbestos when working as a laborer for around 50 years from 1944.
Despite being aware of the hazards of their asbestos products, the defendant companies failed to warn its workers and provide them with a safe working environment, the complaint says.
The plaintiffs are asking for a jury trial.
